Privacy Policy

scale.proindia.net respects your privacy and complies with the Digital Personal
Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. Data we collect

When you register for a workshop, we collect:

  • Identifiers — first name, last name, email address,
    mobile / WhatsApp number.
  • Payment metadata — Razorpay order ID, payment ID,
    payment status, transaction amount. (We do not store card or
    UPI details — those remain with Razorpay.)
  • Technical metadata — IP address, browser user-agent,
    referring URL, UTM parameters.
  • Consent record — the timestamp and IP at which you
    accepted this Privacy Policy.

2. Purpose of processing

  • To deliver the workshop you paid for.
  • To send you transactional communication (confirmation, joining link,
    reminders, recording) via email and WhatsApp.
  • To send you marketing communication about future workshops only
    if you have explicitly opted in
    . You can opt out at any time.
  • To comply with Indian tax and accounting laws.

3. Lawful basis

Under §6 of the DPDP Act, we process your personal data on the basis of
your explicit consent, obtained at the registration form.

4. Third-party processors

We share necessary data with the following processors, each of whom is
contractually bound to protect it:

  • Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. — payment processing.
  • Hostinger International Ltd. — website hosting.
  • n8n cloud / Zoho Corp. — workflow automation, CRM, and
    transactional email/WhatsApp delivery.
  • Gupshup Inc. — WhatsApp Business API messaging.

5. Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as you remain an active customer,
plus an additional three (3) years for tax and accounting
purposes. Marketing data is deleted within 30 days of unsubscribe.

6. Your rights under the DPDP Act

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of your personal data.
  • Correct — request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erase — request deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, with future effect.
  • Nominate — designate another individual to exercise these rights on
    your behalf.
  • Grievance redressal — escalate to our Data Protection Officer below.

the subject line “DPDP Request”. We respond within 30 days.

7. Data breach

In the unlikely event of a personal data breach, we will notify the
Data Protection Board of India and affected individuals as required by §8(6)
of the DPDP Act.

8. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies for session management and analytics
(Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel). You may decline non-essential cookies via
our consent banner without affecting workshop access.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly
process personal data of children.
